1. Can former participants apply for the fellowship?

• Yes, participants who have satisfactorily completed their requirements from the previous years may reapply; however, participants may not apply for the fellowship for more than three consecutive years.

2. Can former participants chose a different lab from the one where they conducted research the previous year?

• No, former participants must carry out their research at the same lab with the same research advisor.

3. What do returning participants need to submit in order to reapply?

• Returning participants must submit a complete application, including a new CV and references. One of their references should also be their lab advisor from the previous summer.
